Who we are

What we collect

Only what you type into the application form: your company details, contact name, designation, phone, email, city, operating history, infrastructure description, language capability, seat commitment and any notes you add. We also record the date, time and IP address of the submission for security purposes.

This site uses no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no third-party trackers. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address as part of serving the font files.

Why we use it

To assess your application for this project, to contact you about it, to verify the information you have given, and to keep a record of the assessment. If you are awarded the project, the same information forms part of the contracting record.

Who sees it

Akontec's project placement and delivery team. Relevant details may be shared with the client for whom the project is being placed. We do not sell your data and we do not share it with anyone else, except where we are legally required to.

How long we keep it

Twenty-four months from your last contact with us, unless you become a contracted partner, in which case contractual retention periods apply.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to erase it where we have no continuing legal or contractual reason to keep it. Write to support@akontec.com and we will respond within thirty days.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Applications are emailed to a controlled address and written to an access-restricted file on the server. Access is limited to the placement team.
